The Haskins-Prescher house is eclectic and full of thoughtful details. A fountain, playfully fashioned of the abandoned wheels and rails of a henequen transportation system, leads you through the front garden. A shaded corner of the swimming pool is shallow, accommodating a hammock for relaxing on sultry days. Circular windows frame passing clouds. An eight meter high shower stall, clad top to bottom in ceramic tiles, is brought to life by the glow from a skylight. In the kitchen warm orange tiles on the wall contrast with the cool brown and white of an art deco inspired oval island.
